Introduction

Hosting a party can be stressful, but worthwhile. Aim for a fun house party. You get to control the setting, budget and atmosphere. For a budget, make sure food goes to the top of the list. You do not want your guests to get hungry and begin complaining.

Step 1

Have a fun house party with fewer than 25 people. Remember, a house party does require a large crowd. Moreover, you may not have adequate space. A limited group allows each person to interact and get to know the others. Make out a quick guest list from a combination of work colleagues and family. A part of a fun house party list involves the people chosen. These people should make the atmosphere feel lively. Make sure that you have extra names listed. Some of your invited guests may not be able to come.

Step 2

Select the fun house party music with care. Having decent music can make the party memorable and make guests ready for another one. You want guests to have a good time and dance. There are numerous songs that provide a party-like atmosphere. Spend time performing research about musical choices. Listen to recent dance songs and prepare a song list. You may want to handle music yourself or hire another person. Go over the songs with the person in charge of music. The person should be able to make suggestions for the house party.

Step 3

Enhance the fun house party atmosphere with at least one surprise element. Most people enjoy surprises at parties. You may enjoy your friends and colleagues, but need more spice. Think of low-costs solutions. Adding wine tasting offers one good idea. This is great if the guests are adults. Make the wine tasting simple with 3 wines. Remember, it is not an official wine-tasting party. Choose two or three guests to blind fold. They can guess the wine by only taste. If you have the budget, add flavorful cheeses on a plate for fun house party guests.

Step 4

Prepare your fun house party decorations wisely. Decorations can be a key element to making your party a success.  For example, you want to avoid using dull flowers, have beautiful flowers for table centerpieces. The flowers can come from the backyard or a professional floral shop. However, do no stop with flowers. Take a visit to a stationary store and purchase funny cards. Many funny cards range in size, shape and pricee. Some of these cards come at a discount. Hand the cards to your guests before they leave.

Step 5

Serve a range of fun house party desserts. Many hosts serve typical cakes and pies. You want the party desserts to stand out and create a buzz. Instead of an ordinary cake have a cake with the shape of a clown. Hire a professional cake creator to prepare the clown. Before hiring the baker, asks about the ability to make the desired cake. Some bakers stay with more traditional cakes. You want a baker who acts as a designer, too. Asks if the baker belongs to a professional baking organization.
