Introduction

Adding a vehicle a custom caraspect involves more than a wash, it’s an extensive cleaning of the car’s interior and exterior. The process can take hours, compared to a basic car wash that can take 5 minutes or less, but this also costs much more than a car wash. You don’t necessarily need professionals to give the car custom details. You just need proper tools and items to give your vehicle a custom detail job.

Step 1

Step 1: The first step is to clean the interior. What you have to do is to wipe down all the interior surfaces with a damp cloth or with and interior cleaner, then you must vacuum the interior, even the trunk, clean all the crevices and spray the floors with air fresher. This should be the first thing to start with to give your car custom details.

Step 2

Step 2: Start cleaning the car’s engine. There are many products made for this. Start the vehicle and leave it running for a few minutes and then shut it off. Then cover the electrical parts, engine coils and ignition modules and any other openings to the air filter with plastic foil or paper foil. Spray the engine with the engine cleaning solution and let it soak for 2-5 minutes then use a soft brush to scrub away the dirt and grime then rinse with some water.

Step 3

Step 3: Another step to give custom car details is to spray the exterior down with water. It is preferred to use a high-powered water hose to wash away the loose dirt and debris. Start with the roof than go all the way down to the hood, trunk and other sides of the vehicle.

Step 4

Step 4: The next step in giving custom car details is to fill a bucket with water, wash the car with car wash soap and a large soft sponge. After the car was soaked grab a car shining giving lotion and start to apply it over the car, wash the car again with water, and then apply the lotion one more time.

After that start cleaning the tires by spraying each tire wheel with tire cleaner and let it soak for a few minutes. Scrub the tires and wheels with a brush then rinse with water.

Then start drying the vehicle starting from the roof and down using a soft cloth or a drying towel and open the doors so that the each jamb will dry. Your car should begin to gain a custom car aspect.

Step 5

Step 5: The last step in giving a car custom details is to start cleaning the windows by spraying the inside and outside of each windows with window cleaner and wipe dry with a paper towel or cloth.

After doing this apply to your custom car a protectant, dress tires and all rubber trim, the bumpers and molding, with an applicator.

Tips

Now the last thing to do is to apply a wax. Wax makes the car shine and protects it from scratches. Do that by using a wax applicator and apply it to one section of the vehicle at a time in circular motions then remove the wax one section at a time with a soft terry cloth.

There you go, now your car will have a custom car aspect.
