Introduction

Nissan introduced its new vehicle at the Chicago International Auto Show and highlighted its new models of cargo vans named Nissan NV200 compact cargo van. First it was decided to introduce NV200 in early 2013, but it is already in use in 40 countries around the globe.

History

There was the increasing need for a van with right size that optimizes cargo space while offering the best possible fuel economy and fuel consumption, which will also be available at low price rate. The Nissan NV200 cargo van consists of 186.2 inches in length and rides on a 115-inch wheelbase, that make its best use in thick city traffic and tight parking as well. Despite its less size, the NV200 can bare an estimated 1,500-pound load. This Cargo van can be accessed by less effort dual sliding side doors and tall 60/40 rear doors that open 180 degrees. Due to the presence of six floor mounted cargo hooks it will allow for the installation of racks and shelves without drilling into the sidewalls. Nissan announced that the 2013 Nissan NV200 would have a competitive price, excellent fuel efficiency, and less up to fitting costs. All these factors will provide owners with less ownership cost.

Features

In the exterior of these cargo vans Nissan modified their vehicles by including special qualities for the U.S. market. They introduced new items by extending the vehicle by 7.9 inches as compared with the global platform. The van is 186.2 inches in length and 115.2-inch wide. In addition to these features these vans include dual sliding doors and lot of space on sides for business related tasks with halogen headlights, black front and rear bumpers and wide angle spotted outside mirrors. Inside, the van features includes the driver’s seat which is six-way adjustable with manual lumbar and an armrest is also available for rest. Outboard vinyl wear patches increases durability. Features for “mobile office” work are also supported by it, like the introduction of a center console with laptop/hanging file folder storage, pen/pencil tray, CD holder, and dual cup holders make its best use for mobile office too. You can also fold down the passenger seat to serve as a work area or to provide additional cargo van space.

Tips and comments

Advanced Air Bag System (AABS), roof-mounted curtain side impact supplemental air bags, front-seat-mounted driver and passenger side impact supplemental air bags, Vehicle Dynamic Control, and a Tire Pressure Monitoring System increased the safety features for both driver and passengers. Number of optional packages that offered with these cargo vans includes a rear glass door, an Exterior Appearance Package for body color bumpers, door handles and outside mirrors, a Blue-tooth Hands free Phone System, Rear-view Monitor and XM Satellite Radio these optional parts are sold separately after subscription.
