Introduction

Searching for the perfect tablet or notebook can be very hard because there are a lot of models out there that you can choose from. I personally like a good all around tablet with good technical specifications that will allow me to run all my favorite programs and applications. A very good tablet that fulfills all my expectations is the Toshiba tablet m200. It is one of the best tablets out there and the price is very good also. This tablet has very good specs and it’s able to handle almost all your requests.

History

Here are the specs of the Toshiba tablet m200.
Processor: Intel Pentium M 2.0 Ghz “Dothan”

Dimensions and Weight: 9.8 inches x 11.6 inches x 1.5 inches; 4.4 lbs
Battery: 4600 mAh Lithium-Ion rechargeable (user replaceable)
Expansion: SD, PCMCIA
The reason I chose this tablet over others is the 7200 RPM hard drive, there are a lot of tablets that have 5400 RPM hard drives. Even if other tablets have better specs when it comes to the processor or the display, having a 5400 RPM hard drive will slow all the system down.
On the first look, the Toshiba tablet m200 has a very simple and efficient design, the top lid has a silver color but the rest is simply black. It is a very compact and light tablet that has a very good 12.1” display. When you open the lid you will see the full-sized keyboard, this makes the Toshiba tablet m200 look very professional. Excellent connectivity is another plus for this tablet. In the rear we will find the AC, two USB2 slots and the VGA out. In the front we will find the SD card reader slot, the headphones and microphone jacks and a very useful hardware volume dial.

Features

One of the best features of the Toshiba tablet m200 is the Pentium M 2GHz Dothan processor which is very fast and really reliable. The 12.1” display makes the Toshiba tablet m200 a leader on the market when it comes to resolution, this display is a SXGA+ 1400 x 1050 pixels.  The graphic card is also a plus for this tablet, while most of the notebooks use the Intel 855 graphic controller with shared memory; the Toshiba tablet m200 has a GeForce graphics controller with 32 Megs of DDR dedicated memory. The graphic card supports DirectX 9 and has a 350 MHz RAMDAC.
The Toshiba tablet m200 has a Lithium Ion battery that will hold up to 4.34 hours on one charge and according to the manufacturer this time is calculated with WiFi on.  Overall the Toshiba tablet m200 is a very well build tablet with an excellent keyboard, with a long battery life and an excellent display.
