Introduction

Scour your local drug or department store for an effective anti-aging treatment and you’ll be bombarded with several products. Turn over these products and you’ll find even more confusion, especially from the multitudes of unnatural chemicals these manufacturers use to make a woman appear younger and fresher. Instead of wasting your money on products you aren’t sure will even be effective, try any of these natural anti-aging treatments to make your feel and look several years younger.

Step 1

Use fresh fruits, and the acids and vitamins found inside, as an effective anti-aging treatment. Avocados are an excellent way to firm the skin and give it a youthful glow. Cut the avocado and half before removing the pit with your fingers or a spoon. Spoon out the contents of the avocado and place them inside a bowl with one egg or one-half cup of coconut. Mix the ingredients until they’re well-incorporated and spread the mash over your face. Allow the anti-aging treatment to remain for at least 10 to 15 minutes before washing it away with lukewarm water.

Step 2

Apples are another excellent source of the essential acids, particularly alpha-hydroxy acid, that makes skin glow. To create an effective homemade anti-aging treatment, remove the peel from a single ripe apple. Cut the apples into slices before mashing it inside a small bowl. Add one-half cup plain yogurt, one tablespoon honey and one tablespoon aloe Vera gel to the bowl. Mix the ingredients together well before working the anti-aging treatment onto your face. Allow the mixture to remain for at least 15 minutes before rinsing it away with warm water. Apply the anti-aging treatment at least once a week to effectively to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

Step 3

The combination of essential oils and facial massage is another great anti-aging treatment any can try at home for a small price tag. Pick up any of the following essential oils online or at a local department store: geranium, sandalwood, jasmine, neroli, rose, primrose or vitamin E oil. These oils not only have a pleasant aroma, they also give your skin a youthful glow. If you don’t have access to any of these products, use castor oil instead. Place a small amount of essential oils onto your clean hands and work the product into your skin using gentle, circular motions. Continue to work the oils into your skin for at least 5 to 10 minutes before rinsing them away with mild soap and water. Avoid leaving the oils on your skin as they can clog pores and lead to the formation of acne.

Tips

Before attempting to perform any anti-aging treatments at home, start with a clean face. Use a mild facial cleanser that’s specially formulated for your skin type. Apply the product with clean hands and wash it away with lukewarm water. Pat your face dry and apply any of the homemade anti-aging treatments to your skin. Don’t forget to apply a thin layer of lightweight foundation to your skin after removing the homemade products to keep your skin supple and smooth.
