Tips for life insurance exam

Introduction

Life insurance is the policy that people buy from the life insurance companies that act as a basis of financial stability and protection for the family of the insured after the person's death. The family is usually listed as the beneficiary and they are compensated after the insured person dies. Before a person is awarded the life insurance policy, they have to undergo a life insurance test that determines the amount of premiums an individual will have to pay at the end of a certain period. The life insurance exam is conducted by a doctor from the insurance company. Though different insurance companies conduct different types of life insurance exams, the most common tests are;

  • blood pressure test
  • height
  • weight
  • blood sample
  • urine test
  • lifestyle habits questionnaire

Step 1

Eat healthy

About a week before the life insurance exam, consume a healthy diet that has limited fatty foods and sweet foods. Eating a lot of whole grain foods, fruits and vegetables would be the best option at that time. This is because the blood sample is used to identify the type of foods you consume and if you do not have a healthy diet, you will have high blood sugar and cholesterol levels.

Step 2

Do regular exercise

Regular exercise fro about two weeks before the life insurance test combined with a healthy diet will give good results that may reduce the amount of premiums you pay. Exercise helps to keep the body fit, strong and it also helps in the excretion of toxins through sweating. Avoid any strenuous exercise a day before the life insurance exam as it may raise the protein levels in the urine sample.

Step 3

Water is essential for the body as it helps in the dilution and excretion of toxins from the body. Drinking a lot of water before the life insurance test will make it easy to get the urine sample and blood sample as blood vessels will be in shape. Dehydration constricts the blood vessels and raises the pulse rate. Hours before the life insurance exam do not take anything but water so that you system can be clean.

Step 4

Lifestyle change

Consuming things like alcohol, caffeine and cigarettes will give a negative result on the life insurance exam. Caffeine can raise the blood pressure while the trace of alcohol and tobacco in your body system can mean a lot in terms of the insurance premiums you will pay as they put you at a high risk of suffering from chronic diseases.

Step 5
