It also protects the cells and tissues of your body from any harmful substances from entering. Vitamin E is known to help prevent certain diseases such as cancer,  heart and cardiovascular disease. Vitamin E is another vitamin that is added a lot in beauty products. A person can get Vitamin E either through taking a supplement or by eating nuts, seeds, spinach, leafy green vegetables, asparagus, some cereals, vegetable oil like canola, palm, olive and sunflower are also full of Vitamin E.

Lutein is a vitamin that is related to Vitamin A and beta-carotene. It is rich in many foods that you can eat including broccoli, grapes, spinach, corn, kiwi, orange juice, squash and zucchini. This vitamin is good to assist in prevention of some eye diseases like age related macular degeneration, cataracts and retinitis pigmentosa. It has also been known to help in preventing breast cancer, colon cancer, type 2 diabetes and heart disease.

Fish oil, another great supplement to take now to enhance and improve your eyesight. Fish oil comes from the tissues of a fatty fish. It contains omega 3's and antioxidants. You can either take a fish oil supplement or eat fish Fish that are rich in these oils are mackerel, tuna, salmon, mullet, sturgeon, bluefish, anchovy, sardines, herring, menhaden and trout. Fish oil is not only good for your improving vision, but also a number of other things: glaucoma, dry eyes, age related macular degeneration, for painful periods, breast pain, diabetes, asthma, obesity, dyslexia, kidney disease and osteoporosis.

A person can improve their eye sight now through taking the proper vitamins, getting proper care with an optometrist and something you might not have considered before to go along with your vitamin regime is doing exercises  specifically targeted for your eyes. There are exercises a person can do to strengthen and to enhance your vision. These exercises are relatively easy and simple to do. They only require just a few minutes out of your day to do.
