A wellnesshotel is basically a place where people who are either already unhealthy or who are healthy but want to learn and do more to be healthier go for a variety of services. There are no doctors’ onsite or anyone who can administer procedures that are usually done under the watchful eye of a health care practitioner. A wellnesshotel is not that type of place. It is more about relaxation, learning and preventative care. Some services that may be offered at any given wellnesshotel include:

1) spa treatments such as facials, manicures and pedicures.

2) various baths. These baths can include essential oils, jets and herbal mixtures.

3) Massages which may also include the use of essential oils and herbs.

4) Fitness training classes for yoga and various training programs.

5) Healthy eating seminars. They may even provide healthy meals and snacks to guests.

6) Some wellnesshotel offer packages or various programs. For example, some wellness hotels may offer a detox weekend to help participants cleanse their bodies. Many different retreats may be offered as well and may include spiritual retreats.
