Ask your guests what wines that they are interested in tasting. Ideally, as the host of the event, you should provide them with at least six differnt wines and two different types of champagne at your home. If your group has more than eight people, more wine should be offered. Start by pouring two oz servings of wine for each guest. Serve the wine on a tray and allow them to taste each wine at their convenience. Ask them how the wine taste and offer to provide additional wines that may taste similar or act as a complement to the other wines served. Remember, each guest should have their own champagne, white and red glasses to taste the wine. Do not simply offer them one glass for the whole event.

Step 3

Generally, start by serving the lightest whites to the heaviest red wines. For example, start with Prosecco, which is a light and fruity white wine before moving on over to Pinot Roir and Shiraz. As each new wine is served, guests will be able to taste each wine without any aftertaste or confusion over the heavy wine that they just consumed. Lightly chat with each guest as you make the rounds around your home.

Also Coach guests to smell the wine before consuming it. The coach them to stick their nose into the glass and deeply inhale the wine. This funny act triggers the sensitivity of taste buds, making the tasting experience truly eventful. Ask them to take a big sip and to roll the wine in their mouth to get a true taste of the wine and all its flavors. Continue to chat with guests as you make your way through the home.

Step 5

Provide music and entertainment guests while they are enjoying the variety of wines that you offered them. Like jazz music or even contemporary music should set the ambience for the event. One may even serve some light snack, such as cheese, crackers, and desserts. Continued to make guests feel that they are at home that of promoting a stuffy atmosphere. If guests are used about explaining how the wine tastes, provider will cheat sheet. For example, an acidic wine usually has top notes that tastes sour. Try wines, for example I'm not sweet at all.
