Introduction

With prices for everything skyrocketing more people are looking for ways to increase their  take home pay. While prices are going up, pay rates are staying the same or in some cases due to lay-offs, company closings, or hours being cut. Fortunately, there are some ways to help your weekly take home earnings increase, This is helpful information for anyone who is struggling to make ends meet. Some of these tips require more effort than on your part than others. Though all are worth a try in order to have a larger amount of money to take home each week.

One simple way to increase take home pay is to change the withholding on your tax forms. Many people claim less than than the number of dependents that they are entitled to in order to get more money refunded in their tax return. By changing your number of dependents to a lower amount, you will receive more each week in your take home pay. For example if you have two parents and two children, yet only claim two throughout the year in order to have more taken out each week in your taxes, you can switch it to claim three or all four throughout the year. This will give you a larger take home pay each week. It will however, reduce your tax refund. You will get less back than you normally do, but you will at least have more to live on each week.

A part-time job after work as a pizza or other food delivery person is a good way to increase your weekly take home pay. These jobs can be done in the evenings after your main job. Evenings are often when these types of businesses are most busy. Not only will you receive more money at the end of the week, but you will also get tips on the evenings that you make deliveries.

Search for a work from home position that you can do in the evenings and on weekends. Many of these positions are very flexible with their scheduling. Often you are able to work when you want. Some of these jobs pay weekly, others twice monthly and some monthly. Since you are able to set your own schedule, you can work as much or as little as you want. Depending of course on how much extra money you have to make that week.

Features

If you want to increase your take home pay for just a week or two and you are not interested in a second job, either in food delivery or a work from home position, that is possible as well. Think about any skills that you have. You could for example do yard work for someone in the neighborhood to make some extra money quickly. You may be able to find work as a dog walker or pet sitter for a weekend. Look around your home for items that you no longer want or need. Have a yard sale to sell these items. You can also list them on Craigslist or eBay,

Tips and comments

If the company that you work for is doing well and you have not had a raise in quite awhile, you could try asking your boss for a raise. This would add extra money to your take home pay with little effort on your part, after asking for it of course.
