Dessert Club, ChikaLicious is owned by Don Tillman and his wife, Chika Tillman. Chika Tillman is a Japanese pastry chef who trained at the French Culinary Institute. Unlike the owners of Eileen’s Special Cheesecake and Dessert Club, ChikaLicious, they’re not the ones who did their own menu. With a collaboration of their ideas and with the consultation of pastry chef experts such as Pichet Ong and Ian Chalermkittichai, they have come up with Asian twists in their desserts. Since their opening in November 2009, Spot Dessert bar has become famous because of their unique desserts and their relaxing Zen inspired restaurant ambiance making their spot on the list of the best restaurants in New York City.
