This is why many job descriptions will add the phrase dependable transportation is a must.

Employers want their employees to be on time. They need their employees to be on the job site, at the start of the day. They need their employees to be able to stay until their shift ends. They even need some employees who can stay over on occasion. This is why a dependable employer will have the facts all laid out on how to get to the job before they even start the interviewing process.

If they live in the city, they could use a commuter bus. To save money, they can purchase a monthly bus pass. Many bus stops are circulated throughout the city.

Step 2

Bigger cities even have subways and railcars that will take commuters from one place to another within the city. This is how many city people travel.

Step 3

It is also something that comes in handy during accidents. Owning a car can be an expensive way to travel and to commute to work. This is the reason why many people who are looking for work, will try to find it close to home. This helps in the price of gas needed daily to get to work and cuts back in their commute time.

Step 4

How to get to job could be as easy as placing an advertisement in one’s local newspaper. One may be able to post an advertisement to see if anyone is willing to share a ride to and from the area they work. They could share a ride, expenses, etc. This can also be a great way to make some travel buddies.
