Airport Extreme Flight Warnings

Introduction

Until this year, I was terrified to travel by plane. I always had the impression that anything could happen and I have always expected for some airport extreme flights to be announced. On the last flight from the past year my fear has transformed into panic and when I arrived, I had to go to the hospital, because I felt really sick. I have then decided to put an end to all that, especially since I consider myself to be a very rational person, without any unjustified fears.

History

All my friends and family advised me to go see a psychologist, but I knew that I should have been the one to help herself, and not a doctor. After all, I couldn’t have panicked all the times that were announced airport extreme flights. So, I have started my research. I have read that a ‘turbulence’ means all that time when you feel like when you are in a car and you have a bumpy ride, except that the plane can also role from side to side, or to bounce up and down. I was surprised to find out that in airport extreme flights, any plane, no matter the size and number of passengers, can be shaken by turbulence. Another airport extreme flight is when the airplane goes through a thunderstorm, which acts like a solid object that changes the wind, like going through the mountains. It can create turbulences, and other problems might appear.

Features

I have also read that the scientists defined turbulence as a ‘fluid flow, in which the instantaneous velocities exhibit irregular and apparently random fluctuations’. What I understood from this definition is that it is something irregular and random. Well…it wasn’t of too much help for me. Reading forward, I saw that there are actually the ‘fluctuations’ that create the tremble of the plane and so my fear of crashing. Knowing that only by understanding every thing that happens in an airport extreme flight I will manage to conquer my fear, I moved on with my reading and found just what I was looking for. With a big title on the top of the page, I read “turbulence isn’t going to bring down your plane”! From that article I found out that a normal turbulence cannot damage an airplane. Airport extreme turbulence happens very rare and the pilots can see the causes that can produce turbulence and avoid it. The pilots also learn that mountains, powerful wind blows and thunderstorms can cause turbulences, so they usually avoid airport extreme flight conditions.

Tips and comments

Meteorologists warn the pilots of the potential causes of turbulences, but they do not always manage to be precise on their forecasts, so airport extreme flights can occur. No person can know the exact time and location of turbulences. However, the experts are working on improving the system of airport extreme condition prediction, so it is very likely, that in some time we can have more accurate weather forecast that can show the pilots where the turbulences might be.
