The bustling Vancouver International Airport is an award winning aviation facility located on Sea Island in Richmond, British Columbia, Canada. It is one of Canada's main airports thus it is known to be quite busy and large. History

Once you arrive at this Vancouver airport you have the option of occupying a meeting place, to wait for a flight or family. The specific meeting place you will need to go to will depend upon the type of flight you were on. International and US passengers who are not connecting to another flight will be directed to the Public Greeting Area in the International Terminal. In order to meet your family/friend/greeting party you will need to move through the glass doors following the exit sign. Domestic Arrivals is for passengers who are arriving from a Canadian destination. To arrive at the domestic greeting area you will need to move from the baggage claim area to the region that is surrounded by a short stone wall. Two other important destinations which travellers should be aware of in relation to airport Vancouver is the Public Observation Area and Spirit of Haida Gwaii, The Jade Canoe. The public observation area is an ideal spot to meet up with family and friends. Passengers can locate this area by upon collecting their luggage moving to the departures level 3 region. Once there proceed to the domestic terminal level 4, just above the airports food court. Spirit of Haida Gwaii, The Jade Canoe is quite possibly the most recognisable fixture in the airport Vancouver, being a 6 metre long and 4 metre wide sculpture. Thus it is an ideal place to meet up with your loved ones. Passengers and family/friends can locate this area by traveling to the international terminal, across from the food court.

The Domestic Terminal: There are four bars and restaurants in thus particular region, these include the Monk's Grill, which is a full service bar and restaurant located After Security; Gate C45 and the White Spot, a eatery that offers fresh salads, pastas, rice bowls, stir-fries and entrées and is situated Before Security, Domestic Level 3. If you yearn for a steaming cup of strong coffee then there are four coffee houses at the Domestic Terminal. These include Starbucks ( Before Security, Departures Level, 3) and Euro Cafe ( After Security; Gate C43) which offers the  freshest coffee made of its special blend of Arabic coffee. 

The international Terminal: This area of the Vancouver airport has three tasty restaurants and bars, including the Asian themed Hanami Restaurant ( Before Security, Departures Level 3). If fast food is what your craving there are a wide range of them at the international terminal, these are A&W, Burger King, Flying Wedge Pizza, Subway, Hanami Express and Toshi Teppanyaki.

U.S.A Terminal: This terminal exhibits three different restaurants and bars, a Pacific themed eatery ( After Security, Gate E82), Jetside bar ( Before Security), and Voyages Bar ( After Security; Gate E83). On the coffee front there are two different caffeine filled establishment, of Starbucks ( Departures Level 3) and Tim Hortons ( After Security; Gate E84).
