Introduction

Kansas City International Airport is a busy and thriving airport in Kansas City, Missouri. This airport experiences a high number of passengers each year, and has been ranked by U.S. News and World Report as the "3rd least miserable airport" in the country. This is perhaps way is it a popular and well used airport in Kansas. 

Kansas City Airport contains three Terminals, Terminal A,Terminal B  and Terminal C. The participating airlines at Kansas airport are distributed along these three terminals. Below we have clearly displayed where each airline resides and there particular gate numbers. 

  • Terminal A: AirCanada (10.14), United ( 10.14) and U.S Airways ( 6.8).
  • Terminal B: Southwest ( 37.45), Delta ( 50.60), Alaska Airlines ( 50.60) and AirTran ( 32).
  • Terminal C: American Airlines ( 76.79), Frontier ( 81.85) and United ( 67.69).

The On Ground Transport options  at the Kansas Airport are as follows:

  • Shuttle Bus: Either the red bus or the blue bus. The red bus circulated around the Parking Lots and Other Kansas City Airport Terminals. This free bus service has stops are outside each terminal building and are marked with overhead signs, and they arrive every 15 minutes  The blue bus is a free service that is available to and from the Economy Parking Lots. This bus arrives every 10 minutes.
  • Metro Bus service: This transportation option is available Monday to Friday and the regular fare one-way to or from KCI is $1.50. 
  • Taxi: There are free phones to call for a taxi located both inside and outside the terminal at each bag claim area and at locations outside the terminal exits. Rates are $2.50 plus $2.10 per mile.
  • Rental Car: Kansas Airport has a range of on website rental car companies to choose from. These include Avis, Enterprise, Payless and dollar.

Terminal A

  • Quiznos serves hot and cold subs such as the Black Angus on rosemary parmesan or the harvest chicken sub.

  • Jose Cuervo's Tequileria is temporarily closed for renovations but once its reopened people can revel in Mexican breakfast, lunch, and dinner cuisine, and high quality tequila.
