Introduction

We all know about Niagara Falls and as kids every one of us wanted to visit at least once. Well today a lot of you might be adults and still wishing for the same thing. History

Over 12000 years ago, the first people or humans were seen in the region of Niagara and they were just in time to see the Falls come to life. The land was of course very different back then and consisted mainly of spruce forests and tundra. During this period, Niagara region was inhabited by people called the Clovis People. The nomadic people here camped along the shore line of the old Lake Erie and lived quite a simple life. Their dwellings were made of raw material that they could find on the earth and they survived on natural fruits and vegetables that they could lay their hands on. Not much is known about them since they left very little to make assumptions or study about except chipped stones that they used to kill wildlife at that time for meat.
