Inca trail is heaven on earth, one of the most gorgeous mountainous jungle hikes in the world. Inca trail leads to a stupendous sacred city most commonly known as Inca city of Machu Picchu. This a great place for families to come and visit, but keep in mind that it’s a hiking trip and a long one too, the 45km trek is usually covered in 4 days, arriving at the blissful Machu Picchu at daybreak on the final day before recurring to Cusco by train in the afternoon. Inca trail is an ideal spot for vacations especially for adventurous families and couples. Keep in mind since 2005 there have been strict rules applied on the number of people that can go on this trail, a number of 500 are allowed per day and the figure is made up of about 200 tourists and 300 porters. Inca trail to Machu Picchu, was far off the trodden path and served as the majestic land colonized by the ruling Inca and an ample amount of servants. The trial was known to integrate the Tahuantisuyo Empire (meaning 4 regions) covering Columbia, West of Brazil, Ecuador, Peru and Bolivia, to the mid Chile and north of Argentina. According to history this network of Inca trails were formed to mobilize the army of Jose Antonio Del Busto. The trail speckles in size going from 6 to 8 meters wide on the coast, however the mountain paving was only 1 meter. The path was impudently steep and climbed over the Andean Mountains. Inca Trail leads to one of the most breath taking sites in the world Mach Picchu, Machu Picchu was built around 1450, at the height of the Inca Empire. The land was uninhibited over 100 years ago, in1572 as a postponed result of the Spanish conquest. Inca trail and Machu Picchu Significantly received popularity when it was published by the National Geographic Society; they devoted April 1913 issue to Machu Picchu and Inca trial.
