This has led to increased pollution which can be one factor of increase in allergic diseases. Secondly, with the technological boom, there has also been an increase in medical facilities which has also led to an increase in the body’s defense mechanisms which is also a cause for allergies.

History

Symptoms Of Allergy Diseases!

Basically, allergy diseases are caused when the body’s immune system starts attacking itself. This can be due to multiple reasons. Firstly, the immune system can be too strong and thus may think that the particles within the body are foreign particles. Another reason can also be that the immune system may be sensitive to some foreign object and only a small trigger of that foreign particle can make the immune system go haywire. In either case, the body is attacked by its own immune system and that results in the symptoms which are also visible outside the body. This can be seen in the form of coughing, sneezing, or difficulty in breathing. The allergen, which causes the allergic reaction, is usually a substance that is harmless to other people.

Features

There are many types of allergy diseases all of which are caused by the hypersensitivity of the immune system, and all of them have different symptoms. However, some symptoms of allergies can be common as well. The rhinitis is a type of allergic reaction which is caused by the inflammation of the sensitive nasal lining. The lining can become inflamed due to small harmless particles like pollen grains, dust particles, fungal spores, etc. These particles are harmless for other people but those who are allergic to these will have a severe reaction. Most of them will develop asthma like symptoms which include shortness of breath, sneezing and can even cause a mild fever. Other people may be allergic to fur of a specific type of animal. Women can also be allergic to certain type of cosmetics which means that this type of allergic reaction can be very dangerous as a person might not even be prepared for an allergic attack from a cosmetic product.

Tips and comments

The best thing to do is to always stay cautious and practice extreme care while trying out new products or even new fruits and vegetables. A solution can be to always carry an epi-pen which is a way to subside an allergic reaction. In severe cases, a doctor should be contacted immediately so that a person can be administered with the correct drug to subside the allergic attack. If the cause of the allergy is unknown, a doctor should be informed so that he can do the relevant testing to find out the cause. Allergy diseases are thus, not to be taken lightly no matter how small the allergic attack.
