Human viruses cause diseases in animals in many cases and many of the human viruses have come from other species of animals like Ebola, encephalitis, SARS, AIDS etc. But is there a process in which virus diseases are transferred from human to animals. The following are various animal diseases that are contracted from humans. Mumps virus can cause dog’s parotiditis. Corynebacterium diphtheria can cause diseases in cattle mastitis and furunculosis and streptococcus pyogenes can cause cattle mastitis. Hygiene should be maintained near the pets and significant care should be taken and not to be worried about these diseases which are known as reverse as zoonoses (diseases that animals can get from humans). Normal hygiene facts like washing hands are to be done after playing with your pets and prior to taking food. This will reduce the probability of getting any of these reverse zoonozis diseases (diseases being passed from humans to your animals). There is research happening right now that indicates that the pet owners are fitter than the non-pet owning persons.
