Georgia Home And Garden Shows

Introduction

Every year, people flock to home and garden shows across the country. Whether it's a business owner looking to sell his or her products and services or homeowners looking to remodel or redecorate, these shows can be a great place to network, do business, get ideas, make purchases or just have a good time. In Georgia, there are two major home and garden shows: The Atlanta Home Show and The North Atlanta Home Show, which is sometimes referred to as the Georgia Home and Garden Show. There are several other smaller home shows in Georgia, such as the ones that take place in Athens, Augusta and Savannah. Here is a look at some of those Georgia home and garden shows and what they offer.

 

The Atlanta Home Show

The Atlanta Home Show usually takes place twice a year, in the spring and fall at the Cobb Galleria Centre. It features exhibits and seminars on topics ranging from landscaping to kitchen appliances. Attendees will learn about new products and unique housing designs. There are also cooking demonstrations by local chefs and kids' activities. Many of the biggest brand names in the home and garden industry have exhibits at the Atlanta Home Show, and it often hosts a number of celebrities. The show usually lasts three days and is said to be the biggest home show in Georgia. Some of the popular categories featured at the Atlanta Home Show include bedrooms, real estate, grills, marble and granite, cookware, solar equipment, swimming pools, home decorating and landscape design.

The North Atlanta Home Show is very similar to the Atlanta Home Show, but it takes place at Gwinnett Center in Duluth, Georgia, which is just outside of Atlanta. It offers the same types of exhibits and seminars on products important to homeowners.

 

 

 

 

Athens, Augusta and Savannah

While the biggest Georgia home and garden shows take place in the state's biggest city, some of Georgia's smaller cities offer quality home and garden shows as well. The Athens Home and Garden Show takes place at the Classic Center in Athens, Georgia. While it's not quite as big as the Atlanta Home Show, the Athens Home and Garden Show offers attendees the chance to learn about new and exciting products in categories including landscaping, lighting, appliances, remodeling, building, cooking, energy saving and decorating. It also offers cooking demonstrations, door prizes and giveaways.

Southeast of Athens is Augusta, Georgia which is home to the Augusta Home and Garden Show.  This show takes place at the James Brown Arena every year. From interior design to gardens and swimming pools, the Augusta Home and Garden Show offers many exhibits for attendees. Other attractions include do-it-yourself seminars; shopping at the arts, gifts and gourmet center; a kids zone and a pet adoption zone.

The Low Country Living Home and Garden Show takes place in Savannah, Georgia each year at the International Trade and Convention Center. Attendees can take advantage of "show only" discounts, a huge plant sale, a NASA planetarium, wine tastings, a kids zone, a pet adoption zone and much more.
