Introduction

You're all set for your cruise, you have your tickets ready, all of your bags packed, everyone is excited and ready to have a great vacation but, you've forgotten one important thing. How are you going to get to the cruise port? Luckily, even if being ride free at the very last minute happens to you, there is still some ways you can get to your cruise on limited time.

Step 1

Ask Friends and Family: The first thing you'll want to do to get transportation to cruises, is ask your friends and your family if they can give you a ride. Typically, family will always be there for one another, as will friends. If someone you know has the day off or is free, just ask them. Maybe offer them some money for the ride to the port.

Step 2

Taxi: Another method to get transportation to cruises is to simply call a taxi and plan a pick up time. Using a taxi service may be pricey depending on how far you are from the port. However, it's one of the most reliable transportation methods to cruises. You may want to call around a bit first, to see which tax service is suitable for your price range.

Step 3

Limo: If you really want fancy and upscale transportation to cruises, you could always hire a limo as well. A limo is probably the most expensive suggestion out of the above three but sometimes it's okay to splurge and do something nice for yourself and your family. Make sure to do research on local limousine services.

Step 4

Bus: Public transportation is another method of transportation to get to cruises, or really anywhere. However, going on a bus may make it difficult for you to pull around your luggage. Of course, if you're going with a big group of people, you could all throw in some money and rent out a luxurious bus to get you to the cruises.

Step 5

Drive Yourself: The easiest way to get to cruises is to simply drive yourself. At the port, there is typically a parking lot that is monitored, which you can park your car at and pay a fee for. Normally, they will charge about $10.00 per day to keep your car at the lot. It may be worth the financial inconvenience instead of asking around for someone to drive you.
