Construction Paper Chain

Choose several sheets of construction paper. You can choose multicolored sheets or choose only colors that match the theme or color scheme of the party. Cut the construction paper into small strips that are three inches long and one inch wide. Make sure each strip is cut evenly with the others. Take one strip and bring the ends together to create a circle. Add and small amount of glue or a small piece of tape to the end of the strip and press the ends together. Link another strip to the circle and attach the ends. Continue to do this until you run our of strips or have created the desired length of chain. Hang the chains on tables or from the ceiling. Yarn Balloons

Yarn balloons make great decorations and crafts for birthday parties. Inflate several balloons to different sizes and tie them to a post so they hang down. Purchase yard in a variety of bright of colors or colors that match your party theme. Cut the yard to three foot lengths. Dip the yard in glue that has been diluted with water and wrap the yard vertically around the balloons. Wrap the balloon until it is almost completely covered in the yarn. Allow it to dry for 24 hours. Repeat the process but this time, wrap the balloon horizontally with the yard. Allow it to dry completely for 24 hours. Use a pin to pop the balloon and gently remove it from the yard ball. Light brush the access glue off the yarn and hang from the ceiling at birthday parties. Use staples, tape or glue to attach both ends of the paper party hat together. Allow the hats to dry for 24 hours.
