The west coast has plenty of top-rated universities for a person to choose. If you are looking to find a university on the west coast, you will not have a problem in finding one.

Stanford University is often rated number one out of all the universities in the United States and it is located in Stanford, California. Stanford is a member of the Phi Beta Kappa and it is known for its strong liberal arts and science programs. Stanford is highly selective with the students they let in and they are a member of the Association of American Universities.
