Introduction

Mental health systems are systems intended to give mental health services to people. The system is governed by individuals who have concern on individuals experiencing mental illness. The mental health systems play a vital role in protecting the rights of the mentally derange individuals, and also keeping sanity of people in the community. In every country or community, there is always an institution for mental health that is being established to help individuals have balance in their life. Although mental illness gets a large share of the total spending that a certain country has on public health, the benefits it provides is unparalleled.

There are so many organizations established around that are dedicated to help community in their problems related to mental illness. They could be families of those affected by mental disorder or just group of individuals who wanted to help promote mental well-being in the community. Sometimes, religious institutions also give support to those mentally ill individuals through the system. Most of them believe that people with mental disorders are always violated and discriminated because of such condition. This creates a social stigma on the part of the people with mental illness and with this, the issue will somehow be corrected though their efforts.

There are also some private organizations that run mental health systems for the purpose of research and to help the community when it comes to maintaining mental health. This does not only give them knowledge on how to promote mental well-being, but also on how to manage mental disorder. Furthermore, the result could help those affected to regain self-esteem, rebuild those broken relationships and get back into normal functioning in everyday life.

Mental health systems do not only help mentally derange individuals to attain decent life but also gives them hope that there is more in life once these are manage. Mentally ill individuals did not choose to be one, but people around them can choose for them to be not become one. The supports that every member of the community can get from people around them are also an aspect to promote well-being.
