Then there is Adjustment disorder, which has further nine different types to it. Anti social behavior disease causes the person to be anti social, as the name literally suggests. In this particular disorder the person can cause damage to the community he lives in, both willingly and unwillingly. Alzheimer’s disease is one of the fatal mental diseases. It is worsened with the passage of time and eventually leads to death. Alzheimer’s causes the person to develop more aggression, get irritated more often along with facing long term memory loss. It is one of those mental diseases for which no cure has been found till now. Bibliomania is a rather bizarre disease. It instigates the person to collect and hoard books with obsession. His/her life revolves around these books, up to the point where that particular individual gets socially cut off. Binge eating disorder is really common. Mostly, because nobody really feels threatened by the fact that they eat too much until it causes other problems for them. Schizophrenia is growing in popularity among the mental health family. This is primarily because over the past few years, Schizophrenic patients have increased radically in number. Schizophrenic’s develop poor emotional responsiveness and break down of thought process. They experience hallucinations and bizarre delusions.

The Mental health family list is still not near an end. One of the reasons these disorders are becoming so common in society nowadays is because of the low awareness level of their existence in society. Efforts should be made to spread knowledge regarding what mental diseases are and what symptoms people should be taking note of. Only after one witnesses the symptoms will the process of recovery start. It is not that difficult with the availability of internet these days.
