History

Amy Winehouse’s musical career began very early, when she was around 16 years of age. Amy Winehouse was discovered by her long time friend and fellow soul singer, Tyla James. She gave Tyla James her demo tape and he helped her land a record deal with one of the music companies in London. Her first official track, Frank, was released back in 2003 and it was received with much enthusiasm by the music community. This was the beginning of her life in fame as in 2006, she released another track, Back to Black which boosted her popularity and made her famous internationally.

She also invested a lot of emotions and graphics in her videos which made her songs famous hits. However, in the course of her career, Amy Winehouse got involved in drug and alcohol use and abuse. This lead to her being rehabilitated a number of times to no avail. This was one of the saddest chapters of her fans lives because the addiction is what brought an end to her musical career. Some of her fans believed that if only Amy Winehouse had not involved herself with these issues, she would have lived to produce other great hits, during her lifetime.
The person that is to blame for Amy Winehouse’s fall is her ex-husband, Mr. Blake Civil-Fielder. This is because it was Blake Civil- Fielder that introduced Amy Winehouse to drug and alcohol use and abuse. Blake is the one that pioneered Amy Winehouse into taking hard drugs like heroine. Their marriage that lasted for two years only did Amy more harm than good. This is seen as the couple spent much of their time in marriage either fighting or doing drugs. This affected Amy Winehouse’s musical career and lead to her untimely death.
