Life becomes very dull and boring when you are sick. You become weak and dizzy so you have to lie down all the time. Your activities and your habits become restricted and you can’t move around freely or do stuff which you want to do. People around you who are taking care of you become really careful about you do how you eat and all. When a person is sick he should be very careful about what he does; he should be careful about what he eats how he moves and what environment he is in because many activities can actually disturbed the sickness, making a person sicker along with damaging his health.

History

When a person is sick or has a certain disease the general immunity of the body to fight against the pathogens becomes really low. Our body has an excellent defense mechanism against any foreign particle that enters a body. In a healthy person the rate of immunity is pretty high and the defense mechanism works well against pathogens. Most of the time our body is successful in fighting and eliminating pathogens but sometimes the pathogens succeed and then we become sick. By the time we are sick our immunity system becomes very weak after putting up a fight with the pathogen hence our body becomes susceptible to other foreign pathogens and diseases. That’s why people who have one disease can shift quickly to another. Therefore when a person is sick, it becomes very essential for that person to become careful and very good care should be taken of that person. While eating good and doing certain activities can boost our immunity, doing certain unhealthy activities can disturbed the sickness. Needless to say that the former should be adopted and the later should be avoided.

What you eat is very important when you are sick. Unhealthy or unhygienic food is the most likely source that can disturbed the sickness. Only simple and homemade food which is clean and light should be ingested. Heavy and fatty foods, spicy foods and salty foods should be avoided when sick. Also when sick, a person should rest a lot. Exertion and a lot of moving around can also disturbed the sickness. A sick person should not read a lot or watch TV as these activities can strain the eyes and cause headaches. These activities should especially be avoided when the person has a fever as they can disturbed the sickness. Also staying in clean environment when sick is very important. A sick person should be kept in a clean room which isn’t exposed to any pollution and dirt.

Tips and comments

Even if a person is slightly sick, they should still be very careful regarding what they do. It may be annoying at times to be so extra careful but it is very important to do so. A sick body is a home to many big diseases. Even a disease as common as flu can sometimes become dangerous and lead to diseases such as typhoid and pneumonia. Hence all those activities that disturbed the sickness should be avoided so that the disease is not aggravated.
