Step 1

If you want to create a Yahoo email address all you have to do is go to yahoo.com, and you will see that in the upper right it will say “Sign in”. Under the “Sing in” sign there is also a “Sign up” button, push the Sign up button. Now you will have to fill a form and personal information will be required like: gender, country, zip code, and birthday.

Creating your Id is very simple you can use letters, underscores, numbers and a single dot, you can let your imagination fly or you can create a simple Id by using your full name. There are many Yahoo users and your Id can be already taken, to avoid this you can insert a number after your ID it can be your birth year. It is better to keep your ID simple, because if you choose crazy ID’s you might lose some credibility when you apply to jobs. Choose an ID that represents you and is also professional.

Step 3

You will have to choose a password. Your password can have a length between 6 to 32 characters, you cannot use spaces and you cannot use your Id as password. Your password is very important and it is best not to share your password with anyone. When choosing a password you can use letters, numbers and special characters like: #, @, &. Password fields are also case sensitive so you can also use lowercase and uppercase letters.

The security question is very important, choose one of the questions from the drop menu and answer it. Make sure you remember the question and the answer because they are the only way to retrieve your password in case you forget it.
