Introduction
E-mail server is a storage area where old and new email is stored for local users. All the e-mails get stored in this area and their destinations are defined by the rules made by user. User defined rules include database of user accounts and the communications module, e-mail server recognizes these rules to help it in handling the transfer of messages to and from other mail servers and email clients. These servers are divided into two categories; incoming mail server known as Simple Mail Transfer Protocol and outgoing mail server known as Post Office Protocol. Create a user account if it is required; close the windows and go to configure. Follow the instructions given for configuration. Now all its left to do is to configure your mail client to be able to read/send mails using your newly created server and a user account. It involves extra configuration which may address two scenarios i.e. dynamic IP address or personal domain name.
