With the many different assortments of tariffs mobile phone operators have, how you figure out which plan you should get? This article will help you answer just that question.

Step 1

As you know by now, there are more tariffs mobile phone companies than you can possibly remember! And the tariffs mobile phone companies have are also too many to remember. But what you may not already know is that, despite the many difference, virtually all mobile phone companies offer two different types of plans for their customers – prepaid plans (also known as pay-as-you-go plans) and monthly plans.

Step 2

If you are looking for the simplest tariffs mobile phone networks provide, then you should choose a prepaid plan. There are no contracts to sign, so you can switch mobile providers any time for any reason. The way it works is, you buy a new prepaid card from one of the many, many stores that sell prepaid mobile cards. You just have to make sure and get the prepaid card for the particular mobile network you want to use. There is an activation number included with your card, which you will use to activate the card by calling a special number.

Step 3

Once this step is done, your phone will have more minutes added to it. How many more minutes are added depends on how expensive a prepaid card you purchased. Just keep in mind that there is a catch with using prepaid cards – they have an expiration date! If you don’t use up your minutes, or refill your phone using another prepaid card, you will lose all of your minutes. Despite this down side, these tariffs mobile phone networks have are very convenient because you can’t ever use more minutes than you have already purchased. You always know what your phone bill is!

Step 4

The other type of tariffs mobile phone plan is known as a monthly plan. The tariffs mobile phone providers have for prepaid plans are normally more expensive than monthly plans. These cheaper monthly plans do have a disadvantage – you must sign a contract! The contract you sign with a mobile network provider can be for up to a year, perhaps even more. If you don’t like the quality of their service and or find a better plan, they may actually charge you a contract cancellation fee to stop your service!

Step 5

Many monthly plans also allow you to talk as much as you want but charge you per minute. Unlike with prepaid mobile cards that you need to buy every month or so, with a monthly plan, the mobile provider will just send you a bill at the end of each month.

Tips

Remember, the tariffs mobile phone companies charge you today can change in the future, so it best to stay up-to-date with all the available tariffs mobile phone operators have. Now that you know more about mobile phone rates, go get the best plan you can!
