Allergies can bother everyone at some point in their life. Most people have allergy problems during certain seasons like Spring and Fall. However, allergies are not limited to certain seasons all the time because people can suffer from them during all seasons. When an allergy attack happens, all a person can think about is relief allergy. There are things a person can do to get allergy relief and live a normal life again.

Step 1

Prevent allergies to get relief allergy. Prevention should be the first thing a sufferer should do to make sure allergies don't happen in the first place. You can prevent allergies from happening by avoiding using window fans during the Summer time because this can pull Pollen inside and can cause an allergy attack. Other things one can do to prevent allergies include keep windows closed while driving and avoid going outside during ragweed and pollen seasons.

Use a Neti Pot to get relief allergy. By using a Neti Pot you can relief those allergies right away. A Neti Pot is a pot with a solution in it that helps relieve allergies. They are small vessels with salt water in them where you can rinse your allergies away.

Step 3

Eat certain foods to help relief allergy. By eating certain foods that are spicy like horseradish, mustard and chili peppers, you can get allergy relief. Just add these spicy foods to anything you are eating and they can give allergy relief. These foods act as temporary natural decongestants and can provide allergy relief when all else fails.

Use a natural approach and try stinging nettle. Stinging nettle works much like the allergy drugs at the pharmacy but without the side effects. It is an all natural way to get relief allergy. It acts as a histamine and can be found growing in much of the United States. It can also be found in supplement form at your local grocery store or pharmacy.

Drink herbal teas. You can drink herbal teas such as chamomile tea to help relief allergy. By not only drinking the tea but also breathing in the vapors from the tea, you can have allergy relief. Try drinking herbal teas to reduce allergies and to bring your relief.

  • Make sure to vacuum at least once a day to keep allergens at bay.
  • Clean things like stuffed animals and put them away during the allergy seasons.
  • Clean your home with natural cleaning products.
  • Wash bed clothes and linens in hot water once a week.
  • Control mold and mildew by cleaning your shower, toilet and bathtub at least once a week or once every other week.
  • If you have a pet or pets, either keep them outside as often as possible or bath them regularly to keep the pet hair at bay and to ensure allergy relief.
  • Use natural ways to relieve your allergies as often as possible to ensure no dangerous side effects. This can be a mixture of herbal teas, home remedies and herbs such as stinging nettle.
