Making a Homemade Solution For Clear Skin

Clear skin is every woman’s desire as it adds to her beauty, but for most women, it remains only a dream. With proper care and attention anyone can get clear skin. But many women go down the road of using commercial skin solutions and products for their skin. This can be a huge mistake as using products with synthetic chemicals will ruin your skin in the long run.

The best way to get clear skin is to use a cleansing, toning and moisturizing regime regularly. This will keep your skin fresh while keeping it away from acne, zits, blackheads, and other skin problems. Once you achieve clear skin it’s easier to maintain but achieving it is not only difficult and time consuming too. However, with a little determination homemade solutions, it is possible to achieve it.

The first thing to do before you buy or make your own skin solution, is to know your exact skin type. Many people don’t know their skin type and keep on buying products. Remember all products or remedies won’t be effective on all skin types. The best and easiest way to check your skin type is to do a tissue paper test. First wash your face using normal soap or just plain water, dry your face with a towel.

After an hour or more take a tissue paper and unfold it in a way that you can cover your whole face with it. If the whole tissue is covered with visible oil you have oily skin. If the oil is mainly seen in a shape similar to T that is only your forehead and nose is oily means you have combination skin. If there is little or no oil on the tissue then you have normal to dry skin. Also remember there can be slight changes in the skin type and oil secretion depending on its reaction to the existing climatic condition, so make sure you do these tests at least once in six months.

Unlike most commercial skin solutions homemade solutions work well on nearly all skin types. You can make a simple daily cleansing solution by mixing 1 teaspoon of honey, 3-4 drops of apple vinegar and some milk powder. Mix it into a paste and apply gently over your face. This works best for oily and combination skin types. If you have acne apply egg white on the affected areas regularly it acts as a natural astringent. For sensitive skin and normal skin, milk can be used, as it is a good cleanser. Simply dip cotton swabs in milk and use all over your face.
