Beauty is something every woman strives for. We all want to look our best in the days when a youthful look is so important. You don't have to spend hundreds of dollars on skin creams and potions that promise to make you look young and only leave you penniless. You just need to start taking care of your body from the inside out.

Step 1

The most important thing you can do for your skin is to be healthy. Fruits and vegetables are full of antioxidants that can help your skin to look its very best and give you that youthful look that we all want. If you are eating primarily junk and processed foods, your skin is full of toxins and this will make you look older than you are. No one these days wants to look their age. You don't have to look your age if you take care of your body and skin. Beautiful skin can be had if you eat the proper foods and watch your junk intake.

Step 2

It is also important to stay hydrated. It is such a simple thing, but water is essential to both our lives and our skin. Without the proper amounts of water, your skin will look dull and lifeless. A well hydrated person's skin is plumped up and looks dewy. The fine lines and wrinkles appear less noticeable and your face will have that glow. Drinking at least eight glasses of water a day will help your skin to stay hydrated and looking its best. Water is free so why not use it to not only keep your body healthy, but your skin as well. The need for moisturizers is greatly decreased when we give our skin what it truly wants in the form of pure water.

Step 3

Another important beauty and skin tip is to take your vitamins. Since many of us do eat fast food from time-to-time and don't take care of our bodies, it is essential that we take a multivitamin to ensure we are getting the proper nutrients. There are many vitamins on the market to choose from and some are catered just towards skin health. One very inexpensive tip is to use vitamin E capsules. These can be broken open and used directly on the face for healthy skin.

Step 4

Proper skin care involves washing and moisturizing your skin daily. A plain old bar of soap just won't do for your face. It will leave your skin dry and lifeless looking and that is not what we want to look like. It is important to choose a facial cleanser that is for your skin type. You will need to wash your face in the morning and especially at night before you go to bed. Never go to bed with makeup on as this will cause great damage to your skin. It is also important to use a moisturizer with an SPF of fifteen or above to protect from sun damage.

Step 5

Believe it or not, exercise is not just for losing weight and keeping toned. Exercise is important to skin care too. When you exercise, you sweat and this releases both free radicals and toxins that come from what we eat and our polluted environments. Sweating can purge your skin of impurities and give you healthy skin like you only dreamed of. It is important that you cleanse your face as soon as possible after exercising so that you can wash away any excess oil and grime that is on your face.


  • Drink lots of water.
