A lot of folks prefer waking up in the late morning or even early afternoon, however, a lot of folks also enjoy waking up very early. People who wake up very early are commonly called an 'early bird'. When you wake up early, you have more time in the day to do as you please and to get your daily tasks completed. In order to be the ultimate early bird, you'll need to take a few things into consideration.

Make Sure You Get Enough Sleep: It is recommended that adults get at least eight hours of undisturbed sleep per night. Getting enough sleep will provide you with the energy you need to make it through the day. If you want to be an early bird, try going to sleep earlier at night than you usually would. Teens and children need even more sleep than adults because they are growing.

Decide When You're Going To Shower: The ultimate early bird typically will shower the evening prior, only because it allows them more time in the morning. Do Things To Help You Relax At Night: Some early birds will read a good book before turning in for the night. Others will have a nice hot cup of chamomile tea or even listen to some classical music. All of these suggestions are proven to relax the mind, helping you get a restful and peaceful nights sleep.

Some other useful tips for the ultimate early bird, are:

  • Try to drown out crickets or snoring by using a fan.
  • Have a stuffed animal sleep with you, it can be very comforting for some.
  • Take natural sleeping aids like Valerian Root or Melatonin supplements.

If you're up early, you have much more time in the day to do what you need to do and you're usually in brighter spirits than if you were to sleep in and be over-rested.
