Pet Bird Faqs

Every bird has its own separate traits and needs. Like every bird, your pet bird would need a cage, food and a perch. When it comes to food, for that you will have to ask the bird owner or the bird seller. Some cages already have a perch but you can always get one too. It will also be a good idea if you install a feeding perch for your bird. In this way, it won’t face any difficulty while eating. Secondly, maintaining and keeping the cage is very necessary. Birds get annoyed if they are made to live in a dirty cage. So you have to clean the cage every week. If you will not clean the cage, the growth of bacteria will increase and there are chances that your bird will get sick. While cleaning the cage make sure you clean it under running water and spray it with enzymatic cleansers. You may also scrub them with a brush. The cage and perch should be completely dry before you put the bird back in. Some birds chew on their cage a lot. People think it might be dangerous for them. In actual, it's not. It is normal for a bird to chew on stuff, however, if you want to make it stop you can place some toys or a rubber toy in the cage. While buying a perch keep the size of your birds in mind. If you have a small bird you should buy a small perch as it won’t be using the perch much but if your bird is active, you will need a large perch as active birds play all the time. Bird perches have recently become really famous and they are available in every design and size. You can search it on the internet by the name “manzita bird stand” and you will get a long list from which you can choose any.
