This shows the trend of football video games going every upward until something better comes along. There is little to stop these video game powerhouses since every year the new features and graphics propel the football video games industry upwards.

These two titles are not the only football video games to come out for games pleasure. There have also been a series of other games that showcase the football if it were more extreme. There have been many titles over the years that have showcased what football would be like if player's were allowed to have late hits or get into boxing matches with other players.
