Getting a Street View on Google Maps

Introduction

Getting a street view with Google maps allows you to go many places throughout the world with a 360-degree image of the street level. Landmarks, natural wonders and many other features are made available when you use Google maps. Getting a street view with Google maps is an easy process.

History

When you get ready to experiment with Google maps street views you will first need to go to the website at www.google.com/streetview. Learning to use the street view feature with Google maps is easy. When you first go the website you will be seeing information about the history of street view and how it first began.

After you look over the page a bit, you can begin the process of where you want to go with Google maps street view. The best way to learn to use street view is by going to www.maps.google.com. Once you review the information on street view that Google provides you need to go on to the maps website to actually use the features offered.

Once you arrive at the Google maps website, you will see a search box above. That is where you will want to type the address or street in that you want to view. Hit the search icon or you may use the “enter” key on your keyboard. Wait for the result to show. You should see a map on your screen. When you look at the map, you will see a little pin man on the left hand side of the map. Take your cursor and drag the little man to the area you want to view.

You can rotate your street view or walk down the street. More information and exact instructions can be found by going to www.google.com/streetview.
