Benefits of Vitamins D

Vitamin D is a fat soluble vitamin. Vitamin D is also called the sun vitamin as the sun is the major source of Vitamin D. Sunlight automatically helps the human body to produce Vitamin D on its own.

This vitamin is responsible for the absorption of calcium. Without Vitamin D, calcium is not absorbed into the body, which affects the bones. Regular intake of vitamin D enhances the density of the bone. make it stronger and healthier. Stronger bones with good density are less prone to developing arthritis, injuries, fractures, etc. Vitamin D is a regulator of the immune system. Vitamin D deficiency is the key factor for developing several diseases as it affects the overall immunity of the body. Similarly, Vitamin D boosts the immunity and the make the body fight against diseases and infections.Vitamins D are also helpful in proper functioning of brain and enable the brain to work properly in the middle ages. In simple terms, it prepares the brain by improving the brain health for later life.

Benefits of Vitamin B and A

Vitamin B has eight subclassifications and is a water soluble vitamin. Fresh fruits, vegetables, greens, whole grains and nuts cater the need of different forms of vitamin B. Vitamin B1 regulates proper blood circulation throughout the body and enhances the brain functionality, increases energy and stimulates normal appetite.

Vitamin B2 is responsible for formation of red blood cells, growth of cells and tissues and respiration of cells. It is also essential for skin and hair to use the oxygen, which treats the skin dryness and dandruff. Vitamin B3 regulates the intake of carbohydrates and fat by enhancing the metabolism of the body. It is also responsible for reducing the level of blood cholesterol.

Vitamin B5 is more popularly anti-stress vitamins as it treats the stress and hypertension. Vitamin B6 is the only vitamin that has its impact and active participation in all functionalities of the body. It helps in regulation of both physical health and mental wellness. Vitamin B12 is the most complex vitamin, and it is essential for the proper functioning of central nervous system.

Vitamin A can also be termed as an antioxidant vitamin. Vitamin A contains more quantity of antioxidants. Antioxidants help in preventing the free radicals, fighting stress, aging signs, etc and beta carotene facilitate for healthy skin. It is essential for proper vision and healthy eyes. Vitamin A prevents the vision damage, cataracts, night blindness, colorblindness, etc. It also strengthens the vision and makes it stronger to withstand the power during dark and light surroundings. The unknown benefit of vitamin A is its contribution to maintain stronger teeth and prevent from tooth decay problems.


Even though vitamin supplements are being widely, it is highly recommended to get vitamins from natural sources.

  • Vitamin A: All orange, yellow, and other colorful fruits and vegetables like carrots, spinach, apples, apricots, pumpkins, tomatoes, broccoli, etc.
  • Vitamin B: All fruits and vegetables, whole grains, and nuts.
  • Vitamin D: Sunlight, mushrooms, soy products, fish, and cereal.
