If you are able to find such a rental, make sure you bring extra pillows and blankets, pots and pans, and some of your own board games. You will also want to bring some fun items like an electric griddle for making big, great-tasting breakfasts and a popcorn maker.

Some vacation beach rentals include outdoor recreation equipment in the overall rental fee. These items may be as simple a pail and little shovel for kids to make castles in the sand.
