To stop hair loss there are several things that a person can do, but understanding what is causing the hair loss is the biggest thing. There are many different causes, but the most common one is lack of nutrients, minerals and decrease in health. As our bodies age we need more nutrients and to keep them up we should be fueling our bodies. Hair loss can effect men or women. Most people tend to think it effects men more, but the truth is that it actually effects women more. It is that we see the baldness on men, therefore we think it effects more. To stop hair loss there are some simple things that can be done in order to reverse hair loss, and help your hair to grow back healthy.

Step 1

The first thing is to figure out what the cause is. Once you find this out, you will be able to stop hair loss in the future. To find out more information there are some basic blood tests that any doctor can run. The blood tests that should be ran are the thyroid function test, TSH panel, T3, T4, and a liver panel. This is the first step to stop hair loss.

Step 2

Once you get your test results back, you will want to go over them with your doctor. You can explain to him or her that you will be treating it naturally. The test results may vary based off each person. They are not a one fix all but will give you an idea what you are working with. This will help stop hair loss for good.

Step 3

The next thing is to get your muscles tested in order to compare them to the bloodwork. This will show how accurate the blood tests were for you or if muscle testing is more accurate. Once you are done you will have a list of supplements that you can choose to take. These are various herbs, that will help with the function of the thyroid, liver and digestion in order to absorb the vitamins and minerals from the foods you eat. This is one of the most vital steps to take to stop hair loss.

Step 4

The next thing to do to stop hair loss is remove all toxins from your house and body. You can do this by removing processed food, dyes, and chemicals. Read all the labels this will help you to stay on track. Many processed foods cause thyroid and health issues which can lead to hair loss, fatigue, and weight gain.

Step 5

The last thing to try is to exercise. You will want to be sure to at least go for a walk a day. Do enough exercise to sweat to remove toxins from your body. The toxins that stay in your body can contribute to the hair loss, and in order to stop hair loss you have to remove them from your body. Sweating is the most natural and beneficial way to do this.


  • Juice fruits and vegetables at least 3 times a week to get the maximum nutrients and minerals from the foods that you eat.
  • Eat less animal protein.
  • Eat good fats such as almonds, pecans, nuts, real butter, and grass-fed meats.
  • Eat more fruits and vegetables than meat to keep the body aligned.
  • Take supplements and keep your doctor informed.
  • Retest every 3-6 months to see progress.
