How To Get in Your Daily Wellness And Exercise Easily

Introduction

It seems like there are not enough hours in the day to fit in a daily wellness and exercise schedule. It is also easy to use the excuse that you have no time for a daily wellness routine. There is always time for exercise as long as you are committed and make a schedule or a list of when you will fit it in. It is important to take time each day to care for your personal wellness on a daily basis. This includes making time daily for eating right and also getting in enough physical exercise for your wellness.

Step 1

First, write down what you have to do each day of the week. Once you have written down what you have to do, put them in order of importance. You will also need to make a list of things you don't have to do but make time for, such as watching TV, searching the Internet, sleeping, reading, or talking on the phone. These are not priorities and can be put at the bottom of the list because these are what take away from your daily wellness. There is too much time spent on things that take away from your daily wellness instead of adding to it.

Step 2

Now that your list is made, figure out which ones you are willing to cut out or cut down on how much time you spend doing it. If you watch TV for two hours a day, cut out 30 minutes of watching TV or you can work in a daily wellness exercise routine while you watch TV such as walking on a treadmill or walking in place. There is always an area in your daily life that you can adjust to make time for your wellness.

Step 3

Find a workout buddy that also wants to work on a daily wellness plan. A buddy will help hold you accountable to sticking to a routine daily for keeping up with your wellness goals. You can set a time each day to go over your goals and put them into action by working out together either at home, at a gym, or even outside enjoying the weather.

Step 4

You will also need to go over the foods you eat daily. Food plays a major role in the wellness of one's life. Eat fruits and vegetables in between meals for your snack. If you don't like to snack then make sure you include fruits and vegetables in your meal plan. Fruit is a great daily option for breakfast. Veggies are easy to add to any lunch and dinner. It's also a good idea to eat whole grains for your health and wellness. Make sure you are not eating too many calories.

Step 5

Once you start buying healthier foods, you will now want to start cutting out foods that are unhealthy for your overall wellness. Stop going to fast food restaurants. Cut out the soda and instead grab a water. You will want to drink at least 64 oz of water daily. Water will also help curb the cravings you may have for greasy, fattening, toxic foods.

Tips

  • Watch less TV.
  • Get involved in a sport you enjoy such as football or basketball.
  • When you are watching TV try doing sit ups or push ups during commercials.
  • Buy fresh fruits and vegetables to help with health and wellness.
  • Try to spend more time outdoors daily instead of indoors.
  • Cut out junk foods.
