Introduction

There are many benefits of exercise and wellness. Your overall physical, mental, spiritual, and emotional health will be better when you achieve a great exercise and wellness plan. Your energy level will be higher, your moods will be better, and your self-esteem will be higher. You will feel good about yourself, and your body will thank you for taking care of it, and so will your friends and family when they have the joy of spending more precious years with you. Hopefully, they will jump on board with you and get a great exercise and wellness plan for themselves so they, too, can reap the benefits.

Back when there were less fast food restaurants, transportation, and TV there was a much healthier world. Instead of stopping and eating chemical and preservative filled greasy foods, families stayed home and ate a healthy home cooked meal full of vitamins and nutrition. Before cars people would walk or ride their bikes to get from one place to another such as the grocery store, school, or work. Families use to go outside and play together and now they sit on their couch watching T.V. Exercise and wellness hardly exists anymore because of the so called conveniences we now have. They are inconveniences not conveniences and we need to get back to the basics for our overall wellness.

The benefits of exercise and wellness are tremendous and priceless. Exercise helps your heart to be strengthened, releases "feel good" hormones to help with your over all moods, helps you to sweat out toxins, and release stress. You want to make sure you are exercising for 20-30 minutes a day, three to five times a week. Exercise definitely plays a huge role in your wellness.

Staying in good physical and mental health is what wellness is ultimately about. Other benefits of exercise and wellness is that you will add years to your life by being healthy, exercising, and eating well. Your stress levels will be down and your attitude will be better. Nourishing your body is very important. Exercise and wellness definitely need to go together. You can exercise daily, but if you don't eat right then why exercise? Enjoy the benefits of exercise and wellness today. Get in a brisk walk, drink some water, and enjoy a nutritious meal.

Tips

  • Exercise three to five days a week for at least 20 minutes a day.
  • When you exercise make sure it's a good mix of both cardiovascular and weight training.
  • Find a workout partner.
  • Eat fresh fruits and vegetables daily to add to your wellness.
  • Get at least seven to eight hours of sleep each night.
  • Turn off the TV.
  • Walk to work.
  • Stay away from fast food restaurants.
  • If you find it hard to eat fruits and vegetables, make a list of your favorite fruits and veggies and just eat those.
