About Email Account Setup

Introduction

Its very easy to setup up an email account is very easy and the steps vary depending on what email provider you are using, whether it is a Yahoo email account, a Gmail account,  or a Microsoft Outlook account.

The procedure for setting up an email account in Microsoft Outlook is as follows: go to the Microsoft Outlook and in the menu go to tools. Then select email accounts. A window will be opened from there select add a new email account and then click next. In the next window select the server type as POP3 or IMAP and then click next. Over here you have to enter your information containing your name, first and last name, your email address, password, write the name of incoming mail server as POP, IMAP and more. and the outgoing mail server as SMTP. Then click more settings.

To setup email, go to outgoing server on the Internet email settings. Select my outgoing server requires authentication (SMTP). In case you have not changed the SMTP then you have to select use same settings as my incoming mail server but if you change the username and password then it means you have not changed your SMTP settings. Change the outgoing server port to 80 or 3535 and finally click ok. Click next and finally click finish.

To setup email in Yahoo first go to the Yahoo home page and click on signup written on the top of the Yahoo page. Enter the name and other information required. Choose a username which you are comfortable using. Check the availability of the user name. Choose a reasonable password. Select security questions and type answers as well. Agree the terms and conditions. Choose a username which is unique. While typing your answers makes sure you type the spellings correctly.

To setup email account in Gmail is also very easy. Go to www.gmail.com and then click create an account page. Fill all the related information there. select a password minimum 8 characters. You can also select the remember me option. Select a security question and enter an answer. You can also give an alternate email address then type the characters that appear and simply agree the terms and conditions. Your account is created.

Setting up email has become a necessary thing in our society. Emails are needed in businesses, universities, markets, companies, by the employees, by the students, by the candidates and all. Whether you are a student, a head, a manager, an employee you need to have an email account. By giving entry test and getting your result as well email is needed.
