How To Treat Physiological Diseases

Introduction

What are physiological diseases? This is the first question that pops up into ones brain when these words are said. Physiological diseases are illnesses caused by the malfunctioning of the body systems or organs and eventually this leads to a disease. There are a variety of different factors which cause physiological diseases. The factors may be of genetic origin or they might be due to deficiencies caused by an improper intake of diet. These disorders are basically diet related as taking too much of cholesterol or fatty food in ones diet may lead to the occurrence of these diseases.

Step 1

There are a number of ways in which physiological diseases can be prevented depending on the type of physiological disorder affecting the sufferer. As physiology means the study of the function of different organs and tissues of the body, similarly physiological disorders are also related to the faulty working of these components of the human body. If the physiological disorder is related to the absorption, distribution and storage of iron, then it is called Hemochromatosis.

Step 2

This physiological disease is treated with the help of either therapeutic removal of the blood from the system or with the help of drugs which help in the absorption of iron. The best way to increase the absorption of iron is to pair it up with foods such as chicken, foods rich in vitamin C and also with the help of heavy cream.

Step 3

Another dangerous physiological disease is diabetes which can be treated with the help of regulation of the hormone insulin. Thus basically in order to treat a physiological disease the first step is to diagnose it with the help of tests such as urine test, blood tests or others tests which would help in the diagnoses of the disease.

Step 4

Then comes the next step where the medical specialist confirms the disease and starts an appropriate treatment for that particular physiological disease. For example if the disease is causing painful stimuli such as in the case of arthritis. Also in such diseases the diet of the patient is monitored to have an effective and successful treatment. For example in the case of diseases caused by the deficiency of vitamins such as scurvy, the amount of these chemicals is regulated and eventually the patients are given vitamin supplements.

Step 5

One of the most effective ways to treat physiological diseases is to treat them with the help of Homeopathy. This treatment not only relieves pain but also gives the patient a positive approach towards life. Although this treatment is very long, but effective in many ways. Drug treatment is also very influential where drugs such as NSAIDs and opioids are used mostly.

Tips

Physiological diseases if not cured can be life threatening thus their treatment is a must. As prevention is better than cure, one should be very careful in monitoring one’s diet. A person should also exercise regularly to maintain optimal health conditions. It is also very important to visit the doctor once a month so that any disease if present can be diagnosed and treated before it becomes fatal.
