Introduction
Heart diseases have always been associated with but truth is they also affect women. Most of the women affected by heart diseases are old in age. The most common heart disease is coronary heart disease which is caused by narrowing or blockage of the coronary arteries which are what supply blood to the heart. Is usually takes a slow process and is the major reason for heart attacks. Women tend to develop heart disease after menopause low levels of estrogen which in turn increases the triglycerides. That does not mean that young women cannot get heart diseases. In the past heart diseases were considered to affect just men and very few women. At the time the treatment for women heart diseases was not aggressive. Research has proven that in this day and age more women than men are suffering from heart diseases and that heart diseases are responsible for many deaths. Obesity and today’s lifestyle has played a role in the increase of women heart diseases. Heart diseases have been common for decades but have become even worse due to the eating habits that people have developed by eating so many processed, baked and deep fried and unhealthy foods. Healthy eating would help minimize the risks of heart diseases in women. Eating junk food ahs not helped the situation but has only made it worse. Caffeine has also played a big factor in causing women heart diseases.

Don’t smoke or use tobacco because this increases the chances of you suffering from heart diseases. Chemicals in tobacco can damage your heart and blood vessels which can lead to them narrowing. Doing some regular and daily exercise can reduce your risk of women heart diseases. Avoid using oral contraceptive as they may also increase the risk of women heart diseases especially those with the risk factor of smoking. It is believed that the birth control pills raise blood pressure as well as sugars and raise the risk of blood clots. Do not take excessive alcohol because it can increase the risk of women heart diseases. Try as much as possible to reduce amount stress because it increases the risk of heart diseases in both men and women.

Prevention is better than cure so try and make sure that you do not put yourself at risk by indulging in dangerous routines for your heart. Always be aware of your cholesterol levels because bad cholesterol clots up and can put you at risk. Learn all the basics that can put you at risk such as blood pressure, cholesterol, weight, waist size and not smoking. Young can also visit your doctor for regular check ups because if the disease is there it can be detected early enough for you to get treatment. Do a bit of exercise to ensure that your heart stays in great shape. Live a healthy life.
