How To Send An Email on Your Mobile Phone

Introduction

Mobile email is a great feature that many cell phone companies now offer their customers. A mobile email is an email that you can easily send right from your cell phone. Whether you are using a smart phone or a regular cell phone, you should be able to access a section where you can get on the web and send a quick email to friends and family. While some cell phone providers include packages where you can send a mobile email for free, others may charge you for internet access or per each mobile email that you send. Start sending emails today from your cell phone by asking your cell phone provider about this feature.

Step 1

Depending upon which cell phone provider you have your phone with, there may be different ways to access and send a mobile email from your phone. This can also depend on the type and model of your cell phone. Some popular cell phone providers include Verizon Wireless, Sprint, T-Mobile, and AT&T. Find your cell phone's model and look online to find a user manual or guide that can show you the proper way to send a mobile email from your specific cell phone model.

Step 2

Pick up your cell phone and open up the main menu. This should be easily accessible whether you are using a regular cell phone or smart phone. Through the main menu, there should be a section where you can go to send and receive emails. Navigate to this section and you will be able to send a mobile email with ease. Just enter in the email address that you are sending an email to and type in your desired message. This is very simple if you have a qwerty keyboard on your cell phone.

Step 3

If you are unable to find a mobile email section on your cell phone, you can open up your cell phone's internet feature. From here, type your email provider's web address into the search box. Log in to your email account from here by typing in your email address and password. Continue to navigate through the email provider website and compose an email by entering your recipient's email address and your message. Click send and you will now have sent a simple mobile email from your cell phone.

Step 4

If you are using a smart phone like an iPhone, it is even easier to send a mobile email. Click on the mail icon on your iPhone and set up your email account to work with your phone. Choose your email provider from the list that is given and enter in your email address and password. This should now log you in to your email address on your phone and you will not have to log in again. After setting up your account, you can click on the mail icon to compose an email and check your inbox for new emails any time you would like to.

Step 5

If you are unable to figure out how you can send a mobile email from your cell phone, simply contact your cell phone provider for more information. They should be able to guide you through the process of sending a mobile email and how much it will cost for you to be able to send them if it is not included with your plan.

Tips

Always find out the price of sending a mobile email before you send many of them. This could rack up your cell phone bill without you even knowing it.
